Dr. Rachel Stokes is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with 18 years of experience working in mental health treatment centers and private practice settings. Having received her master’s degree in psychology from the University of Central Florida and her doctorate degree from Nova Southeastern University, she has extensive knowledge and experience in diagnosing and treating general mental health disorders. Throughout her professional career, Dr. Stokes has provided a variety of treatment services in a number of diverse treatment settings. She has extensive experience in providing psychological assessments for both children and adults. Her expertise in adult treatment includes individual therapy, family therapy, couples therapy and group therapy. Dr. Stokes has a passion for working in women's development. For over 12 years, she served as the director of the LSU Eating Disorder Treatment Team. She is the owner and founder of Louisiana Center for Disordered Eating, LLC where she provides treatment for eating disorders and body image struggles. Her general therapy work often focuses on assisting clients in navigating and increasing well-being in areas such as relationships, parenting, career identity, professionalism, and work/life balance.
